Frequently asked questions.

Which brand of resin do you use?

We use Counter Culture DIY resin for all our pieces.
We use CCDIY Artist Resin for all our charcuterie boards. For any pieces that we have preserved flowers or other objects, we use CCDIY Culture Cast.

Is the resin heat safe?

The resin used on all of our charcuterie boards and coasters is heat resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. However prolonged heat can damage the resin, so we advise against using any pieces as hot plates for pans or pots or hanging pieces over heat sources like firepalces. Hot food, mugs, etc. are fine however.

Is the resin food safe?

Yes! The resin is food safe & FDA compliant.

Is the resin scratch resistant?

Yes, the resin is scratch resistant, but it’s not scratch proof.

How do I care for my charcuterie board?

-Hand wash only using a wet cloth and mild detergent.

-Do cut on the wood, but don’t cut on the resin.

-Don’t use abrasive cleaning supplies as this may scratch the resin.

-Don’t soak the board or put it in the dishwasher

-As with any charcuterie/cutting board, they require some TLC over time. So we recommend treating the board with oil occassionally to avoid drying out and to keep it looking as beautiful as the day you pruchased it! We use Howard Cutting Board Oil which you can find on Amazon, but any oil specifically formulated for cutting boards will work.

Do you offer local delivery?

Resin Tips

-Keep out of direct sunlight - the resin is UV resistant, but prolonged exposure to UV rays may cause yellowing over time.
